The purpose of this deliverable was to release a first version of the BLAS library for the Booster Nodes (BN). With the Mathematical Kernel Library (MKL) Intel provides a BLAS, LAPACK, and a few more important math libraries. These libraries are already in most parts well optimised for the Xeon PhiTM cards. The main functions used in the DEEP applications were identified, their usage analysed, and the MKL implementations were evaluated with reasonable parameters.
